# Dashboard

> Understand the main Merops workspace

After signing in, the dashboard is the application's landing view. The sidebar opens **Providers**, **Start Migration**, **Automatic Sync**, and **Manage Syncs**. The account menu in the top bar opens **Profile**, **Settings**, and **Log out**; administrators also see **Dev Tools**.

## Main areas

* **Providers:** add, inspect, rename, or delete connected provider records; switch between map and list views.
* **Start Migration:** copy objects from a source bucket to a destination bucket.
* **Synchronization:** manage manual and automatic synchronization operations where exposed by the deployment.
* **Profile:** edit names and profile picture.

The dashboard currently displays statistic cards, a cloud-provider table, and recent activity. The statistic and activity values are hard-coded sample data in the frontend, not live account metrics or a reliable migration history. The provider table includes fields such as region and cost that are not supported yet.
