# Quickstart

> Get ready to use the Merops application

Merops lets you connect cloud providers and work with their resources from one workspace. Buckets are the first supported resource; you can browse their objects, migrate data, and set up synchronization.

## Before you start

* Make sure your Merops application deployment is reachable.
* Create an account or sign in.
* Prepare provider credentials for the accounts you want to connect. Use the setup guide for each provider in [Providers](/providers.md).
* Check that the source and destination identities have the permissions required for your workflow.
