Merops uses a browser application, an API, a database and provider-specific components to manage cloud resources. Object storage is the first integration; further resource types can be added over time.
  • Web application: Next.js and React provide the dashboard and guided workflows.
  • Backend: Go and Gin provide the API and coordinate accounts, providers, object-storage migration, and synchronization operations.
  • Application state: PostgreSQL stores account and application records. Redis is used for sessions and related runtime state in the backend deployment.
  • Provider access: Separate Go components use provider SDKs or S3-compatible APIs to communicate with AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Scaleway, and OVHcloud.
  • Local development: Docker Compose is used to run backend dependencies and services.
This describes repository architecture, not a guarantee about the hosting, availability, or data location of a deployed Merops instance. Ask the project maintainers for deployment-specific information.
